If you are reading this, you've already discovered that we recently unveiled a new Web site! The new site is just one step in achieving our goal of improving communications with (and between) the nearly 200 members of the ASPRS Western Great Lakes region.
The new site takes on more of a "blog" feel where we will post news tidbits, upcoming events, and other information relevant to our members. We are also working on an e-mail subscription service where anything posted to the blog is automatically "pushed" out to Region members. Watch this blog for more information in the coming weeks!
Beyond the technology improvements, the officers of WGL are discussing new ways to reach out to members, such as more local events in each state (Indiana, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Upper Michigan, Wisconsin). We recognize that travel is becoming more difficult in today's economy, so we hope smaller events (versus "big" gatherings at a central place) makes it easier for you to be active in ASPRS.
